The bar at the bottom is avant-window-navigator.
Another way to call the bar at the bottom is dockbar :D

The dockbar is avant window navigator.
It has 100% transparent background, the dark line you see in the screenshot is drawn on the wallpaper.
I only use it to launch applications [the ones you see in the bottom left].

Con nautilus-elementary... basta avere un GTK che ha l'RGBA settato a TRUE e hai le trasparenze che vedi nello screenshot :)
