avant window mavigator with transparent background [the fake dock is drawn on the wallpaper].
You can get the same result with awn-lucido now. Just google it.

Hi Im using ubuntu 10.04 now can you tell me how can I do this folders on desktop ?
liliumcruentus Featured By Owner Jul 5, 2010
That's the trick: I simply added the folders' shortcuts, then named all of them to " " [blank space].
Then I set up a blank transparent .png file to every icon of the folders.
After this, I simply have drawn the elements on the wallaper.
The result is the same of having icons really on it, even if they're drawn over the wallpaper.
And, of course, when I double click on the folder image on the desk, the desired folder just appears.

To better understand, download the .xcf template of my desktop [it is linked on the deviation comments] and open it with GIMP.

Ok and I want to ask is it possible to delete folder labels ?
liliumcruentus Featured By Owner Jul 19, 2010
Of course.
Just hide/show the layers of the .xcf file [you must open it with GIMP], and select/delete the things you don't want.
It's easier to do it than explaining it :D
